With the continued redevelopment of the Leicester city retail landscape and the growth of the Universities there has been an increasing demand for more student accommodation. This project saw a former sock factory of re-enforced concrete construction replaced with a new fresh and imposing 8 story residential structure.

A design and build project, Farrow Walsh advised on the demolition of the existing structure including the archeological requirements plus the disposal of asbestos. The tight city centre location and close proximity of existing structures posed considerable problems; all of which had to be considered when looking at the new build.
